In the areas of disability and chronic disease, our aims are to support:
Those suffering from a physical handicap or a chronic disease.
Family members of people suffering from a disability,
whether it be physical, mental, psychological or multiple disabilities.
We believe that effective counselling, in a confidential space, offers an opportunity to stimulate potential, restore dignity and promote ways to live above life’s circumstances.
CYARA provides a space where, together, we can help put into words what you feel,
where self-confidence and self-esteem can grow; family issues are worked through,
obstacles are overcome, and where your personal projects can be developed.
CYARA does not provide medical care.
Regular community activities centred around disability
Workshops for people with physical disabilities
and for family members of people with mental disability or autism spectrum disorder.
We lead regular groups covering a variety of topics and real life issues.
If you are interested in joining one of these groups, please contact us here
CYARA are regularly invited to partner with Local churches and other associations to provide a time of creative and joyful expression for young adults with special needs.
